Lakehouse Opera, founded in the summer of 2003,is a new opera company
based in Houston, encouraging innovation in and awareness of the operatic
and musical theatre art forms by supporting the composition of new operatic and
musical theatre works, performed in an environment of full creative freedom,
and dedicated to the education of future performers and audiences.
